About
I’m Chris Bennison - a Creative Director and Producer with over two decades of experience in games and immersive media.I spent eight years at EA and DICE editing and directing trailers, cinematics, documentaries and other marketing content for franchises including Battlefield and Mirror’s Edge. I later spent four years at Resolution Games, where I built and led the video and cinematics team and joined the studio’s extended leadership team.Today I run DualNorth Studios, leading projects from early creative through production and final delivery. The work changes from project to project - sometimes I’m developing the concept and building the team, sometimes directing or producing, and sometimes working directly in the edit. That mix of creative leadership and production experience is what I bring to studios and publishers, whether I’m leading a project or joining an established team.

Documentaries, making-of films and production breakdowns from projects at EA DICE, Resolution Games and DualNorth Studios.
DISC POWERED BY ASICS
Announce Trailer | Producer | ASICS
ASICS teamed up with Meta to launch DISC, a competitive sport built exclusively for VR. I ran production on the announce trailer for DualNorth - client, casting, budget, schedule - blending live-action performance with in-headset gameplay capture to launch DISC with the weight of a real sport, not a game reveal. Directed and edited by Jeff Boyd.
GAMEROOM
Launch Trailer | Producer | Resolution Games
Resolution Games brought DualNorth on to produce the launch trailer for Game Room on Apple Vision Pro. We had a dev kit for gameplay capture but couldn’t film the headset, so I flew to New York, queued at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store on launch morning and brought one home for the shoot two days later. Directed by Christoffer Glans, the trailer shipped within a week of the platform’s launch.
MIRROR'S EDGE CATALYST
E3 2013 Announce Trailer | Director & Editor | EA DICE
The announcement trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, unveiled at E3 2013 in Los Angeles. I developed the concept in close collaboration with DICE Audio Director Magnus Walterstad and partnered with the team then at Visual Art in Stockholm, who would later form the core of Goodbye Kansas. I directed the motion capture and edited the final piece.
BF3 TV SPOT
Fixin' to Die TV Spot | Director & Editor | EA DICE
A Battlefield 3 TV spot built around the first look at the game’s Fault Line single-player campaign, set to Bob Dylan’s “Fixin’ to Die.” This version never made it to air after a different music track was chosen, but it remains one of my favourite cuts from the campaign.
BATTLEFIELD 3
Launch Trailer | Director & Editor | EA DICE
A narrative-focused launch trailer built around Battlefield 3’s single-player campaign. The game became a defining release for DICE and the franchise, selling five million copies in its first week and becoming EA’s fastest-selling game at the time. I directed and edited the trailer at DICE.
DEMEO
Launch Trailer | Producer | Resolution Games
Launch trailer for Demeo, Resolution Games' co-op VR tabletop RPG. Produced in-house as Head of Video, shot on greenscreen with a motion control camera at Stiller Studios in Stockholm - placing players inside the game world and cutting it together with captured cinematic gameplay. The game went on to become the studio's flagship franchise, later expanding to PSVR2, Vision Pro, and a Dungeons & Dragons crossover.
Medal of Honor
TV Spot | Director & Editor | EA DICE
TV spot for the multiplayer side of EA’s 2010 Medal of Honor reboot, developed at DICE while the single-player campaign was created by Danger Close in Los Angeles. The spot focused on the scale, pace and contemporary combat of DICE’s multiplayer. I directed and edited the piece in-house at DICE.
BLASTON
Launch Trailer | Producer | Resolution Games
Launch trailer for Blaston, Resolution Games' VR dueling shooter. Produced in-house as Head of Video, pulling in the DualNorth core team - shot on greenscreen with VFX compositing to place players inside the game's arena, then cut together with cinematic gameplay capture and mixed reality. One of the studio's breakout titles, later named Best New VR Fitness Game of the Year.
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Gamescom Cinematic Trailer | Director & Editor | EA DICE
Created for Gamescom 2009, this character-led multiplayer trailer introduced Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s squad-based combat through a fully rendered cinematic. I directed the piece and its motion-capture performances, then edited the final trailer at DICE.
Ultimechs
Announce Trailer | Producer | Resolution Games
Announce trailer for Ultimechs, Resolution Games’ futuristic VR sport built around rocket-powered mechs. I produced the trailer at Resolution Games, working with longtime collaborator, director and cinematic specialist Christoffer Glans. The cinematic reveal introduced the arena, the scale of the machines and the game’s sport-of-the-future tone, ahead of the gameplay reveal that followed.
SPATIAL OPS
Launch Trailer | Producer | Resolution Games
Launch trailer for Spatial Ops, Resolution Games' mixed reality FPS that turns any room into a battlefield. I'd worked on the game since early development, so for the trailer I captured much of the MR gameplay myself - shooting straight through Quest passthrough as the real and virtual space merged. Produced alongside the DualNorth team, co-directed with Jeff Boyd.
ANGRY BIRDS VR
Launch Trailer | Director, Editor, Producer | Resolution Games
Launch trailer for Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs, Resolution Games' VR take on the franchise with Rovio. I'd worked with the dev team through development and earlier trailers, then directed, edited, and produced the launch. The opening live-action shot was the hard part: shot at Stiller Studios with motion control, greenscreen, and motion capture - even the 3D-printed slingshot the actress held was mocapped so the birds could be added digitally. I also worked with the dev team to spec custom Unity camera tools for the gameplay capture - jitter-smoothing on headset and controllers, a rotation cam, a bird follow-cam - which laid the groundwork for how Resolution captured footage afterward.
